• The world's most powerful E92 M3, BimmerBoost.com Gintani Stage 3.5+ supercharged E92 M3 hits 773 wheel horsepower - Dynograph and video

The world horsepower record for the E9X M3 S65 V8 currently stands at 773 wheel horsepower and belongs to Gintani as well as BimmerBoost.com, just do not expect it to stand for very long. At Bimmerfest 2013 Gintani had the BimmerBoost.com project E92 M3 on display. They worked tirelessly to get the car ready for the event and took it to the dyno the night before. On MS109 race gas and 18.5 pounds of boost the car was able to hit 773 wheel horsepower with the completely stock DCT transmission slipping at 7250 rpm.

Looking at the dyno graph below it is easy to see where the clutches begin to slip. At about 4750 rpm the clutch slips a bit then grabs as the pull continues up to 7250 rpm where it slips again and is unable to hold the power as the car is run to its 8500 rpm redline. Regardless, 7250 rpm was enough for a new world record on the S65 V8 platform and overall on the E9X BMW platform.

Gintani will be rebuilding the cars DCT transmission and once that is complete the car will be back on the dyno for a clean run to redline and another world record. Looking at the graph, the car should conservatively be capable of ~830 wheel horsepower at 18.5 psi with MS109. What will it do on FTW Purple and 24 psi? We will eventually find out.

Enjoy the picture and graph below. There is a video included of the car at Bimmerfest 2013. A huge crowd was gathered around it. For some reason the announcer at Bimmerfest never notified the crowd that the world's most powerful E92 M3 was in the house and that a new world record had been achieved on the platform. I waited for hours for the announcement which was hand written and delivered to the announcer but to no avail. Additionally, the car did not win a single award despite being the E92 M3 on display that had the most work done to it. Perhaps it needed some tacky neon green trim and red roundels? Definitely odd and awkward considering the years of engineering that have gone into it and that Gintani was a sponsor of the event. Perhaps if a competitor was not the headline sponsor Gintani and this car would have received the acknowledgement that was deserved and earned?

Congratulations to Gintani on raising the bar to where nobody else on the platform is able to tread. This car is just getting warmed up.

Yeah we are guests. But let's not forget this forum mostly lives from the content we provide, from the help we provide each other. Oh well... I better catch some sleep now.

yes and no. its one step below ours as far as current setup, we knew what direction we are going and opted to pay a bit more upfront. its still expensive, but seeing how has they have a few events done and major sponsors throwing major $$ at them, you would think they would have it by now. the beauty is that it can be added to, like i said we did.

but your the first guy to jump in somewhere and say it was a $#@!ty video of a street race; and this was a pre-planned set up event.
eventually people will learn 2 gopros pay huge dividends. but watching cars fade out of sight is the greatest thing to watch on PG video. ESPECIALLY considering the magnitude of your car finally went to a race, and not only performed, but took top spot..

wish i could rep this. I had to back wade through pages of hating BS to get to the original postings about the event.

Congrats on the car's performance. You also don't come across with annoying bravado about this accomplishment as when you first posted dynographs, so props. Click here to enlarge

Where are your trophies? Where are Drew's? Guess trapping in the 160's doesn't cut it. Want to know why? Because his setup is weak in comparison.

Can't hear you over the sound of winning.
Are all three trophies grouped together in your engine bay for your car, Sticky? If so, how did your car come in "IRST PLACE" in the AMG/BMW roll race, and "2ND PLACE" in the AMG/BMW roll race? Seems like it should be one or the other, but not both...?

        Congrats on the results, regardless.

To stay on topic, why the hell would one spend three years building a car and then, when it's finally done (or almost...) not even drive it oneself on the event, let alone attend the place??

The difference between you and most enthusiasts here is that we have spent blood and tears getting our cars to the state they are, not just outrageous amounts of money (yeah, some of that too). Running them, fixing them, optimizing part after part, looking for the best stuff to get the most out of it etc ect.

Yes, that's the impression I and many others get of you. Think about how you represent yourself if you don't want to come off as an arrogant ... who shows off how much money he can throw around. No achievement in that!
ZOMG - Sticky does not do car ownership the right way!

Dude, these things are material possessions ok...who gives a $#@! if someone builds it themselves or buys it. ALL that matters is that you enjoy the process. I hate this notion that a "true enthusiast" has to meet some level of criteria. If it isn't wrenching, then it's not enough track time, or some other stupid BS. There is only one criteria that matters - have fun and don't be a d1ckface.

Ragging on someone for not turning their own wrenches is so pathetic. Did you want to thank him for creating a web board for you in the same post or a different one?
