• The world's most powerful E92 M3, BimmerBoost.com Gintani Stage 3.5+ supercharged E92 M3 hits 773 wheel horsepower - Dynograph and video

The world horsepower record for the E9X M3 S65 V8 currently stands at 773 wheel horsepower and belongs to Gintani as well as BimmerBoost.com, just do not expect it to stand for very long. At Bimmerfest 2013 Gintani had the BimmerBoost.com project E92 M3 on display. They worked tirelessly to get the car ready for the event and took it to the dyno the night before. On MS109 race gas and 18.5 pounds of boost the car was able to hit 773 wheel horsepower with the completely stock DCT transmission slipping at 7250 rpm.

Looking at the dyno graph below it is easy to see where the clutches begin to slip. At about 4750 rpm the clutch slips a bit then grabs as the pull continues up to 7250 rpm where it slips again and is unable to hold the power as the car is run to its 8500 rpm redline. Regardless, 7250 rpm was enough for a new world record on the S65 V8 platform and overall on the E9X BMW platform.

Gintani will be rebuilding the cars DCT transmission and once that is complete the car will be back on the dyno for a clean run to redline and another world record. Looking at the graph, the car should conservatively be capable of ~830 wheel horsepower at 18.5 psi with MS109. What will it do on FTW Purple and 24 psi? We will eventually find out.

Enjoy the picture and graph below. There is a video included of the car at Bimmerfest 2013. A huge crowd was gathered around it. For some reason the announcer at Bimmerfest never notified the crowd that the world's most powerful E92 M3 was in the house and that a new world record had been achieved on the platform. I waited for hours for the announcement which was hand written and delivered to the announcer but to no avail. Additionally, the car did not win a single award despite being the E92 M3 on display that had the most work done to it. Perhaps it needed some tacky neon green trim and red roundels? Definitely odd and awkward considering the years of engineering that have gone into it and that Gintani was a sponsor of the event. Perhaps if a competitor was not the headline sponsor Gintani and this car would have received the acknowledgement that was deserved and earned?

Congratulations to Gintani on raising the bar to where nobody else on the platform is able to tread. This car is just getting warmed up.

Probably not. AFAIK ESS has always said they never wanted to do anything directed against another vendor. I'm guessing Gintani is the main one. Who cares though. The trap says it all, nobody can deny it now. We have 2 forms of data, 1 is the dyno 2 is the trap speed. Both very respectable compared to anything else we have seen the s65 do for now.

BTW, if my car was in the shop for so long. I wouldn't want to drive it until I knew it was 100%. I'm guessing they took it out to do some more testing. Gintani usually does this at the Speeddistrict events at big willow as well. They fine tune it in real life like that.

What stage is that on that Gintani car?

EDIT: Saw the details on Gintani's website. What's done to the motors in their Stage 3 kits?

i would think they HAVE to race though, if they were competing for a trophy/class at an event, especialy one they are a SPONSOR of... i mean, AMS and UGR go back and forth, head-head is a sign of enthusiasts, to not compete says a lot.. win or lose, both are good choices, just mean the losing car has to come back stronger next time.. thats how i see it anyway. i hope an ESS car beats me in november, just says i have to step my game up next time

Stage 3 = Built Motor (Forged Internals, Sleeved Block, CR adjusted to 9.5:1, Aftermarket Head Studs, Block Flex Reinforcement), Upgraded Fueling System & a YSI blower for this car

Sticky's car is a mother $#@!ing beast. On that 173 run, Alex was sliding all of 3rd and 4th gear. With a slipping transmission. If that car hooked on Saturday, it would easily would have broken 180 MPH.

All I have to say is, the next Shift Sector event, Sticky's car is really really going to break some damn hearts with all the upgrades about to be done to this bad boy.

Congrats buddy, I tried sending you a text with the video run off my phone but I think I have your wrong number.

It would have to be a lot more than 770hp to run 173mph with a slipping trans, and sliding around in 3rd and 4th gear. I just don't see this car ever being reliable running any big power. But it's his money and time not mine.

not really. i was referring to the fact that a slipping trans means its still stock, so no point in more hp, meaning still 7xx range.
        2. tells us the upgraded trans is a, not done, b. not working
        c. its an airstrip in a Cali desert. if they didnt take my advice and sweep it, then many cars would have traction issues, regardless of hp

Congrats man on the car's performance!
But still not sure why you didn't drive it yourself after 3 years of waiting.
        Pussy can be had anytime...
Because it wasn't a built trans and why would I drive it myself if the trans is going to give out which it did? Like I said they are still waiting on the new parts but in the mean time the decision was made to run the car simply to shut morons up.

Run it did, crush the competition it did.

        What more do you want?

Where are your trophies? Where are Drew's? Guess trapping in the 160's doesn't cut it. Want to know why? Because his setup is weak in comparison.

Can't hear you over the sound of winning.

Bragging rights for having spent enough money to make the car that fast...what's the point in that unless you're an F1 team owner??
Are you kidding me this crap? Seriously?

So my tuner takes my car out and that's a bad thing? And I'm waiting to run my car at 100% because I don't want to be responsible for breaking their own transmission is a bad thing?

How about I run my car on the strip once my new parts come in as I said? What, the car is regulated to a single event?

173 not in kill mode with the clutches slipping. Essentially $#@! slapping their best without even trying. I guess the beat down needs to be EVEN larger. That's fine, I'll accommodate.
