• The world's most powerful E92 M3, BimmerBoost.com Gintani Stage 3.5+ supercharged E92 M3 hits 773 wheel horsepower - Dynograph and video

The world horsepower record for the E9X M3 S65 V8 currently stands at 773 wheel horsepower and belongs to Gintani as well as BimmerBoost.com, just do not expect it to stand for very long. At Bimmerfest 2013 Gintani had the BimmerBoost.com project E92 M3 on display. They worked tirelessly to get the car ready for the event and took it to the dyno the night before. On MS109 race gas and 18.5 pounds of boost the car was able to hit 773 wheel horsepower with the completely stock DCT transmission slipping at 7250 rpm.

Looking at the dyno graph below it is easy to see where the clutches begin to slip. At about 4750 rpm the clutch slips a bit then grabs as the pull continues up to 7250 rpm where it slips again and is unable to hold the power as the car is run to its 8500 rpm redline. Regardless, 7250 rpm was enough for a new world record on the S65 V8 platform and overall on the E9X BMW platform.

Gintani will be rebuilding the cars DCT transmission and once that is complete the car will be back on the dyno for a clean run to redline and another world record. Looking at the graph, the car should conservatively be capable of ~830 wheel horsepower at 18.5 psi with MS109. What will it do on FTW Purple and 24 psi? We will eventually find out.

Enjoy the picture and graph below. There is a video included of the car at Bimmerfest 2013. A huge crowd was gathered around it. For some reason the announcer at Bimmerfest never notified the crowd that the world's most powerful E92 M3 was in the house and that a new world record had been achieved on the platform. I waited for hours for the announcement which was hand written and delivered to the announcer but to no avail. Additionally, the car did not win a single award despite being the E92 M3 on display that had the most work done to it. Perhaps it needed some tacky neon green trim and red roundels? Definitely odd and awkward considering the years of engineering that have gone into it and that Gintani was a sponsor of the event. Perhaps if a competitor was not the headline sponsor Gintani and this car would have received the acknowledgement that was deserved and earned?

Congratulations to Gintani on raising the bar to where nobody else on the platform is able to tread. This car is just getting warmed up.

If you have a problem with a joke that is spot on with the truth, then maybe your skin is too thin. Sorry my friend for the humor.
No, you're an idiot and you watch your own mouth.

If you don't know how to read and comprehend that additional transmission parts need to arrive before anything further happens I don't know how to help you. Your only option is to sit there and wait, period. Sorry you have trouble with critical thinking.

I personally don't give 2 $#@!s about your broken M3. There are plenty of faster M3s out there anyway. Great, you have the most powerful E92 M3, but it sits in a shop all year around. This sounds just like that 2000hp M5 motor that sits in a display case. lol. Man, you need to pull your skirt down. All I asked originally was is this car officially complete! Easy there.

Then why are you posting and reading about it?

There are plenty of faster M3's out there? Uh huh sure there are.

Sorry when forging your own path there is no off the shelf solution. Is there a more powerful E92 M3? Is it your car? Your money? Your time? Do you have anything faster? Do you have anything more powerful? Do you have anything anyone cares about? No is the answer to all of these questions.

Easy there? Take your own advice.

If the car was officially complete I'd probably not tell anyone I'm waiting on parts now would I? How stupid are you?

My car runs, your mouth runs, end of story. I'll take my leave now and hopefully when I return to this thread next summer, I will be amazed at what this parked car can really do.

Oh you have one of those cars that skips to the end of its build process. And what, I have just one car? And your car is what? Oh wait, I don't even care.

Cool run along child people doing things you can't are talking.

It's been 5 months..... What's the hold up on these parts? Are they being hand made? Is there a problem on the production end (more R&D necessary)?

You like to brag about how much money you've spent and how you're pushing the S65 into the "unknown", but 1) when was the last time you even had your car and 2) what was the last official deadline? It's great to hear the motor is working, but this DCT has killed any momentum the project had.

Absolutely. Watching sticky go into an e-rage is one of the many enjoyments of this forum. As a matter of fact, i think i'm going to go bump an M3 vs 335 or N54 vs 2JZ thread; i'm cutting loose this weekend.

But the N54 is the new 2JZ...

Haha yea, I don't wanna $#@! with it. I know I could do it myself but I'm really not in the mood. I want this car to have everything done right.

They quoted 3 hours which is good enough for me. I have a lift too but I just don't feel like doing it. Ehh

After the dyno run I personally would have gone manual until the DCT was sorted and at least gotten some pleasure out of the car instantly.
Sticky you should contact Dodson transmissions. I believe their DCT clutches are close to completion if that is the challenge with the transmission at the moment.

If it matters to you so much pick a phone and call Gintani? Go nuts. E-mail them every day if you want?

Yes they are being hand made and designed specifically for me and they don't just exist off the shelf. Is there a higher horsepower M3 with a solution ready? No? Then shut up.

        1. Who cares it's not your car none of your business.

        2. There is no deadline. The deadline is when it's done. You posting about it won't change anything. I don't care how long it takes, I don't care what you think of momentum. It's my car, my money, my time, mind your own business and wait for an update until one comes. Period.
