Autocar renders the next generation W205 C-Class - Accurate or just guessing?

Autocar decided to render what the new upcoming W205 generation C-Class would like and here is the result. Frankly, it just appears that they took the headlight design from the new R231 SL and then decided to give it the taillights from the C218 CLS-Class. The new Mercedes-Benz styling language definitely is moving towards LED integrated headlights but these renderings really just seem to be the result of slapping the SL and CLS together on a C-Class style sedan body.

The C-Class will be aggressively styled according to an anonymous quote attributed to a supposedly high ranking Mercedes official, "We want once and for all to discard the idea that the C-class is a car bought by your grandfather. We have gone to extensive lengths to ensure it will meet the expectations of a younger generation of buyers, both visually and technically.”

This all just really just feels like Autocar is guessing and fishing for clicks/traffic. No concrete source for the supposed quote from a high ranking executive and a rendering that plays it safe by borrowing from other new Mercedes models. What you have here is just guessing with no substance. Come on Autocar, you can (and should) do better.
