This all sounds absolutely excellent to a German Automotive performance enthusiast's ears. A 2200 pound curb weight Quattro likely won't happen but a lightweight version in the 2XXX range with the 2.5 TFSI inline-5 would be incredible. Not to mention if the lightweight Quattro concept does not see production this would essentially be practically the same thing.
Very lofty goals at Audi these days with many of them being high performance oriented.
