• New SLS AMG Black Series Nurburgring spy video clearly demonstrates a tweaked M159 6.2 liter V8 is under the hood

When the SLS AMG Black Series was first spotted testing rampant speculation followed on what motor would be under the hood. Everything was mentioned from a M275 V12 Twin Turbo to even the new M157 Twin Turbo V8. As more and more testing reports came in from people who saw and heard the car testing as well as leaks from Mercedes AMG themselves it has become clear a revised M159 with output slightly above the 600 horsepower mark will be employed.

The video below of the car testing on the Nurburgring has very good audio of the engine sounds, you be the judge.

Everything is going through the PL at this time, notice how there have been no official press releases by any other media outlets yet?

There are no "lists" at dealers at this time, anyone that says otherwise is not in the know. There are no lists of any kind except the ones AMG has and the people they want to sell them to.
Definitely make sense to eliminate those who just want to flip it for quick money but I think it's much harder to do that now and with this car.

Regardless, it's cool they are keeping it super exclusive.

On a different note, you should have Jim get the slk bs and a sl bs so he has the entire lineup.
        SLK BS? Tell me more.

You will be forced to sign three legal binding contracts that state you can not ship the car overseas for two years, another one that says if you want to sell it they get first right of refusal. Would you like a copy of the document???? So many experts on here Lol.

Not really a big story, anyone who took delivery of a later release C63 BS had to sign one. I will get you a copy of mine.

I think it has potential and will be interesting. But yes, I would definitely like to take a look at your copy. Thanks Jim, appreciated.

Car is perfect. We actually tried to run on Thursday in CA but the track was too slick so we only did one run. Sat was cancelled so it ended up being a wasted trip out west.

The logistics just were not there this time.

        how did it go today?

$#@! $350k for that? why would someone purchase an aventador or a few other cars in that price range that look and perform better?

Up to the people to decide at that point. I see your point though, the Aventador is a bit more exotic looking at that price point.

Not just more exotic looking more exotic performing. Not to mention UGR has their TT kit which they are currently selling with a 2 year warranty with 1200hp and privately theyve gone well past that. Not much like a Proline built V12 that can handle 2,000hp.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
