    • Fast BMW bike versus fast modified cars - Twin Turbo Gallardo and Jotech GTR take on a BMW S1000RR Motorcycle from a roll

On the highway high power modded cars can definitely match and beat some of the faster bikes out there. A motorcycle has a higher coefficient as drag simply not being as aerodynamic as a sports car hurting it the higher speeds go. Still, the power to weight ratio of modern bikes makes them absurdly fast. The video below reflects this well as the S1000RR is able to beat the Nissan GTR although the Twin Turbo Gallardo is able to beat the bike.

The Gallardo has a Dallas Performance Stage 2 Twin Turbo kit which is said to put out 1100 horsepower. The Jotech tuned GTR is said to be in the 940 horsepower range but gets walked pretty hard by both the Gallardo and the S1000RR. The S1000RR is capable of trap speeds just under and around the 150 MPH range meaning it is going to take some serious hardware to pull it.

      Enjoy the video below:

Yea that's what it seemed like.. That S1000RR was moving out too! I think the chase car was that nasty S/C GS Vette we've seen? I like your new signature! hahaha

Jotech GTR has a rep for BS'ing the HP #'s
        Chase car was a 850whp C6 Vette
S1k rider is 120lbs soaking wet
I think if this was an UR Lambo w the 1100whp the bike would have been walked, you can clearly see the TT G starting to pull up on the bike before he shut down

It might be the Stage 2 UGR TT kit (1150 WHP on Race Gas, only 850 on Pump). As for the JoTech GTR, it looks like the closest kit is Stage 4 900 WHP build, which for the amount of money it costs ($72k), I would've gone with AMS (Alpha 10 for $64k) or Boost Logic (BL1100 kit for $65k).

I forgot to type that the TT G in the vid is from Dallas Performance;what I was trying to say was IMO a Underground Racing with the same set up is probably a faster car then the DP car

I don't know man. I've seen both run and they are very fast. A well modified S1000RR will take an 1100 hp UGR Gallardo. On a 100 shot it's running even with the "kill mode" 1500 whp Gallardo's.

        You have a link to a S1K on a 100 hit?

I can't see the video right now since I am at work, but I am pretty sure this is it.

The yellow S1k on nitrous in the vid you posted is the same bike/owner as the white one..he crashed &had it painted white;he is on a few other bike forums that I frequent. He was not running a 100 shot. Jamie's UGR car destroyed the S1k&the BMW owner readily admits it so I have no idea why you are posting the BMW was running "even" with the 1500whp Lambo..did you not watch the vid you posted??

Anyways, the BMW owner has since turbocharged his S1000 and claims he will now beat UGR at TX2K13

Like I said, I was at work and couldn't see the video to verify it was the one I was talking about. Try reading the full post next time.

So I tried researching for the proper video and I have had no luck. It was on youtube about 2 weeks ago. It was a great video too. What size shot was this S1000RR running?

I read your post quite clearly;however it is not my fault you posted something without watching it first which led you to making an assumption....

Car vs bike racing = nonsense. You may as well try to race a plane or a helicopter.

It's not really nonsense there are a lot of fast highway cars that take down bikes. Supras are famous for this.
