The record pass was run with the car putting out 837 horsepower at the wheels (graph to be posted in separate article). Air temperature was around 100 degrees and the density altitude calculations are just under 4000 DA at 3934 feet above sea level. This means in the winter this is an EASY 9 second car approaching the 150 miler per hour mark. Regardless, it is still the World's Fastest Benz even when running in 100+ degree California summer heat.
We wish to congratulate all involved. Definitely not an easy task to take the M156 motor to this level and reach the top level in aftermarket Mercedes performance. Weistec should be proud of their achievements with this platform and we know owner ecampbell must be thrilled. The fact there is even more in the car in better weather when already surpassing all others is simply icing on the cake. Well done gentlemen, well done.
