    • Speedriven claiming 1200+ horsepower "Anarchy" upgrade kit for the M275 twin turbo V12's (600, 65 AMG)

Talk about a bold claim. Now Speedriven has done some great work so do not get us wrong but 1200+ horsepower out of the M275 is a very bold claim to make. The 1200+ HP Anarchy package includes Garret Tial Turbos, custom Speedriven manifolds, custom air to water intercoolers, custom intake, fuel pump, larger injectors, transmission upgrade, and all associated hardware. The Anarchy package retails for $32,000.

Now, when making such a bold claim and putting out the specs and pricing where is the dyno? Where is the 1/4 mile time? Where is any support for the claim? We are not saying they have not hit this figure just we have seen these claims from Speedriven before without much supporting material. We are thrilled to see the M275 getting the attention it deserves but we want to see the wheel figures before recommending anyone blow $30,000 on anything.

I agree. If your going to claim 1200hp, which Is propabley the most I've seen for a V12 (MKB has a 1000hp set up), dynosheets need to be given.

Did MKB ever back up their 1000?

That's a bold statement... could honestly be possible though. On a stock engine?

I heard these V12's have one of the worst flowing head. Without working on them, i think extracting 200hp/liter isn't possible.

for only $32,000? that seems a little cheap

The heads can be improved as can the cam. This still is a monster V12 it can make a ton of power before the headwork.

I get my cars dyno'd at the same place that Speedriven does here in Illinois.

I'll see if I can get a hold of my dyno operator to convince Speedriven to post here....

A dyno would be great, but you can be sure that if SPEEDRIVEN says its, its true.

PS - The 1200 HP kit is $26K right now, and the 800 HP kit is $5K

1200 HP for a 6.5L Twin Turbo V12 shouldn't be way off hand...

GTR's can do it with half the displacement and half the cylinders... oh wait Click here to enlarge

Have they even dyno'd this? I want to know what they are basing this power claim on.

        It isn't 6.5 liters. 6.0 liters for the 65's.

The V12TT motors have a forged bottom end and are well know to be bullet proof

Here's is one that they posted on another site, they where just getting started and where not satisfied with the results. The best bet is to contact SPEEDRIVEN you can be sure that they do NOT make claims that they cannot back up.

818 wheel is great, but that is a hell of a long way from 1200 horsepower. Seems they are jumping the gun quite a bit.
