    • Weistec Engineering now offering Stage I Naturally Aspirated M156/63 AMG tune - +47 wheel horsepower on 91 octane, $990

We thought this eventually might come but not so soon. Weistec has decided to sell a naturally aspirated tune for the M156 V8 which offers gains of 47 wheel horsepower on 91 octane, impressive. In addition to the horsepower gain torque is upped by 32 wheel, the speed limiter is removed, and the throttle response is optimized. The price is a very reasonable $990 which also is credited toward a supercharger purchase should one decide they want more power.

      Key Features:

      • +47 Wheel Horsepower
      • +32 Wheel Torque
      • Eliminate Top Speed Limiter
      • Increased Throttle Response
      • Optimized Fuel and Spark
      • Credit towards Stage 1/1+ Supercharger Systems

      To order: http://weistec.com/m156nas1.html

I would be curious to know as well. I'm pretty sure Sticky has had his S/C'd M3 down the track. It would be interesting to know:

-car's rwhp per dyno and approx. weight
        -best ET
        -best trap

So that we can gauge how effective the "theoretical calculators" are to actual results.

Fair enough? You accused me of copy pasting and then proceeded to insult my work and my forum. I have no problem having a discussion/debate with anyone here for all eternity but if there was anything that would make me angry in this thread it would be your post. That was completely uncalled for and made without the slightest clue of what was going on.

Really? So the only way to participate is to post? They can't speak to me directly and say, "hey we have this new product would you put up a post on it? What else would you like to know about it?" They can't participate by offering information through a direct channel? The only definition of participation is yours?

Then you state they are unaware of this whereas if you look at the Who's Online feature it will show who is browsing and what they are browsing. You can even see their last activity if you like. So once again, WAY freaking off base and uncalled for.

Plus I would figure you would be intelligent enough to see there is no resemblance between my posts and what is put up in other areas as I write mine myself.

I want to make something clear that these calculators are to show there is a very real mathematical correlation but they are not exact by any means. They could be made exact but that would involve a much more sophisticated formula and data input.

I have had 4 cars with 3 of them on the track.

I just told you earlier at a single event with my M3 before it was supercharged, Famoso actually, I did 17 passes and believe I did 3 of these events at Famoso (would be a lot more if I was not building my car for all eternity) not including Sacramento which I did twice. Oh, and California Speedway in Fontana of course a handful of times. That is just my E92 M3 alone which it would seem I had 100+ passes with or to put it differently I launched that $#@! so many times I was the first person in the world to wear out the clutch discs and did so in less than 12,000 miles. How's that for real world experience?

I don't see any ET's or rwhp. What numbers are we talking about? What is your best ET of all your vehicles? I know guys who race 12-14 second Honda's for the past 10 years. That doesn't make them experienced.

Sticky, you are quite the wordsmith, but basic concepts elude you on occasion. By sharing info with you, they are indirectly participating. Not directly. As in, participating via third-party. Direct participation on a public messageboard would be posting something yourself - not via proxy.

They choose not to directly participate on Benzboost, for whatever reason. The "directly" was assumed, but I suppose I should've clarified for your benefit.

How are people racing 12-14 second Honda's for the past 10 years not experienced? They would have had to accumulate experience over a decade. There is no correlation between experience and ET. A guy who goes 10 seconds knows more than one who goes 14? Huh?

If you want to find out about my car go on BimmerBoost and check it out or look in the garage if you like, it's all there. You are going way OT now.

Have you tracked your E92 M3 with the S/C?

What a $#@!ing stupid comparison. Because how FAST (mph) someone goes is a direct correlation to their knowledge ?? REALLY?? Care to make that same correlation to some of the best racers in 125cc shifter karts ?? I've worked with so many people in professional racing who have never been on a race track ever who have more knowledge in their pinky finger than you do.

I agree. They would be experience racers, to be certain. Probably excellent at reading their cars, track prep, DA, etc. for effective bracket racing.

They are directly participating by sharing information with me directly. How does it get any more direct? My article is my own. I think they likely want to focus on other things like their great upgrades instead of posting themselves when possible. Many vendors send me things and then ask me to do writeups for them. I go above and beyond for the users.

Yes, I am quite the wordsmith which may be why I write articles for people.

Information in a conversation with me is direct from this perspective. It is indirect from yours, right? Regardless, it still meets the criteria for the definition of participation, correct?

If you guys put in half as much effort in positively contributing to the forum as you do in attempting to prove me wrong or put me down this place would already be bigger than MBworld.

AMEN to that. Jesus. You $#@!ing guys need to give it a rest already and quit trying to put holes where they don't exist and can't be drilled.

Weight should be in the 3350-3600 range. I have not weighed it since many changes were made.

Approximate RWHP at the time I ran it was 575.

I truly believe these questions belong in another place.

No - them sharing info with you, who then in turn posts it here, is them indirectly participating here. How could it get more direct? If they posted it here themselves.

It's sharing information aka participating and to me it is direct.

It would be more direct from your perspective of needing posting from their name although it is not necessary at all to participate Click here to enlarge
