    • Best Mercedes of SEMA - ACG's (Automotive Connoisseur Group) custom widebody Weistec supercharged C63 AMG with 636 RWHP

This was in the opinion of BenzBoost the best Mercedes at the 2011 SEMA show. The only problem was trying to photograph it as the Mustang Dyno it was on really got in the way. It seemed the Mustang dyno was more on display than the car which makes sense as it seemed the booth space belonged to Mustang Dynamometer. The car itself was gorgeous and the fender work looked spectacular in person. Not overdone, but very aggressive and it came out clean.

Under the hood, the Weistec supercharger was on display sitting on the inside of a beautiful carbon fiber cover and a 632 rear wheel horsepower dyno was also on display. Oddly enough, the graph looked like a dynojet graph even though the dyno it was on was a Mustang. Just something minor but humorous in a way considering the dyno the car was sitting on.

We would like to congratulate ACG, Weistec, and Chapparone Auto Body who it would seem did the body and paintwork for building what we felt was the best overall Mercedes at the show. If we had any area to nitpick, it would be how the sideskirts go into the widened rear fenders which leaves a sort of odd little triangular gap that is noticeable in person. Other than that, this car was basically flawless and looked amazing with the power to back up its looks. Very well done by everyone involved.

The owner says that car is still a work in progress with a couple of stages still to come. Good job getting some pics of it.

While I agree that this car was well executed...I really don't think it's anything special. Custom fabbed widebody...that's been done plenty of times and really there are lots of guys with the skill who can do that. Weistec blower is awesome but again, nothing super special about that. I like the center lock wheels more than anything.
Sticky, I'm surprised you didn't think the RBM Black Series from FMU was more impressive. The exhaust on that thing is what SEMA is all about - custom one off unique pieces. I felt that alone was one of the most noteworthy and distinguishing Mercedes pieces that I have seen in a long time. I'd be willing to bet that the exhaust alone on that Black Series had about as many man hours as the entire build on that C63 Click here to enlarge I kid....

Edit - The dyno sheet says "DDM Tuning" - who is that??

Wow this C63 is definitely a monster! It would be crazy to see this run against some of the built-motor supercharged E92 M3s out there.Who makes their headers and midpipe? It's just labled as "C63 _______ "
