    • Modern Horsepower (MHP) M157 twin turbo V8 ECU tune results - +105 wheel horsepower, $2995

The M157 ECU tune from BenzBoost premier vendor Modern Horsepower (MHP) is now available. The dyno below is a Cartec dyno from the MHP European facility. It reads stock, non-performance package cars at 528 crank and 484 rwhp. Tuned cars are at 627 crank and 589 rear wheel horsepower. Torque figures rise from 569 crank / 521 rwtq stock to 690l / 632 rwtq. Dyno tests were done on 98 RON octane fuel on a car without the performance package. This tune is available now for $2995.

Sorry, I meant the size of the graph.

Take a look 2 posts down.
That asia based graph looks alot better. See what I am getting at? More or less a real world scenario and not a glory pull.

If this wasn't created by TT - Why did you redact where Techtec / Pascal normally puts the sig and TT Watermark?

No, you're talking about the air in Germany at a facility (still in the summertime) with fans capable of blowing a sustained 180mph vs a DJ in Asia in monsoon season (high F and humidity) with no fans. That's the difference. The German results are more relevant to U.S. v3 ECU customers unless you live in FL or LA (as most marketing dynos are), the other "worst case" dyno shows the reality of using a dyno with static air in the summer and is more of a "worst case" scenario as far as results go.

I actually gave a fairly clear hint in my initial response to your comment about this. Pascal was involved, but you'll have to do the mental math to figure out the rest.

I didn't "redact" anything, I added my watermark to an otherwise clean graph from our facility. Now please back on topic Bren.

        Thanks

New guy here. I've been thinking about getting a new TT cls63 and waiting to see results from basic modifications. The gains fit right in with the usual gains one should expect from tuning a turbocharged performance engine. Click here to enlarge The car is making good power, but it looks a little wavy after 5200rpm. Is this graph of a finalized tune? Do you have tunes for CA91? also, where is your European facility? 66 deg F in the middle of summer, I wish it was like that in LA, I'm lucky to see high 70's when I'm driving around this time of year

Not all TT tunes will gain the same power and torque, everything is application dependent ie you won't see an Evo picking up this much hp/tq with just a tune. Turbo sizing, displacement, what's left on the table ignition/AF wise, tq limiters eliminated, etc etc all play a role in gains.

Little "wavy"? Not sure I'm picking up what you're putting down. Either way I've never been a huge fan of dynos, they are a waste of time for me but customers demand them so what are you going to do.

Just like the rest of our tuning the drivability is world class and we still haven't lost a race with comparably modded vehicles.

        Thanks!

Germany and yes we have both 91US/95RON, 93US/98RON and v4 Race Gas Only tuning available.

I see, so race gas flash means race gas all the time.
