• SpeedDriven successfully completes Mercedes M275 V12 twin turbo swap into W211 E-Class sedan - EV12

      First of all, congratulations to SpeedDriven as well as the owner of this W211 E-class BenzBoost user V12GodSpeed. This has been a long and grueling project but that day that makes it all worth it is here with the twin turbo V12 powered beast finally running. This is essentially an EV12 swap which was made famous by the tuner Brabus although they charge over $300,000 for some of these M275 V12 conversions. To see a US shop without the resources of Brabus pull this off is a major achievement. Dyno graphs and further details coming soon, for now enjoy the pictures and video.

        And this is all with a factory Mercedes DME?
        Everything is factory (ECU),

        the only aftermarket parts I have added are: Turbos, Heat exchanger, Injectors, BOV, Wastegates, A/F meter, and of course Boost Controller.

        No, this is an APEXI boost controller. the AVC-R to be exact, it's a little complicated and not very user friendly but it does a good job when set properly as it has various boost levels by gear or RPM.

        The ECU has no control over boost, It just controls timing and fuel I believe. I could run 10 to 25 pounds at my request.

        What is the upper limit for boost on the turbos you have with race gas?

        I am not too sure, I know each could handle roughly 600-700 hp, but my boost controller wont go past 30 psi. Honestly I see this set up running low 20's to mid 25's. I think that is more than enough power, for now...LOL

        No meth and don't plan to. Right now just running 93 Octane. I do want to run 100 octane or 109 if I go to the track. we will see.
