    • Weistec CLK63 AMG Black Series supercharger results from BenzBoost member Ecampbell - 551 rwhp

The 551 whp dyno graph posted below is from a CLK63 Black Series belonging to BenzBoost member Ecampbell. He was kind enough to share his graph after some controversy resulting from a 573 whp graph that we posted for a similar Weistec supercharger setup. The graph you see here is the result of a claimed 5.5-6.0 psi with aftermarket Hennessey headers and an Evosport exhaust. Very strong results for 91 octane pump gas.

        My 2 cents.

        Probably, but...

We are all car guys, we are all competitive, we all have opinions and experience to share. Sometimes we butt heads, and sometimes out of those initial conflicts come a better understanding of who we are and what we have to offer. I can say from my own personal experience those I used to get into heated arguments with initially often became good or close friends. Why? Because we were so much alike.

Anyway out of conflict often comes the truth, which I think we all agree is the most important thing: Quality and clarity of information. Misinformation helps no one.

If a few names get thrown in and we happen to laugh about it along the way or looking back so be it. This is why I thank God for the Y chromosome, we can get past $#@! they cannot LOL!

        Thanks

I agree, as long as everyone realizes we are all here for the same reasons and on the same team it doesn't matter. Some of my best friends are people I used to get in verbal wars with all the time.

The forums are actually the problem. People act different then they would in person. 99% of the people who talk crap and get stupid with insults wouldnt dare do it to someones face.

I think a heated debate is fine. Name calling and insults takes it to another level where you might just run into that person face to face one day because like you said, we have all have the same interests and like the same things. I think a good forum scap is good fun though as long along with the insults you can actually make some good arguements. If its just insults it get boring quick. A good flame war can sometimes lead to a good night of entertainment if im bored. LZH is a good example. He pretty much acts like a know it all douche on every forum I see him on. He has experience under his belt though so his douchery is accepted. However, Im sure hes a nice guy in person. Click here to enlarge

Almost everyone ive scrapped with on the forums I am friendly with in person now. Except Jon.. I hate you Jon!!! JK... Even Jon... Click here to enlarge

There is truth to this but I think 99% is a large exaggeration. I would have no problem saying a lot of things I have typed to certain people, and then some.

Its one thing to be a douche on a forum, its another to act like that in person and not expect to catch a beating. I have been on the forums for a long long long time, and not once has someone talked to me the same way they have on the forums to my face. I also pay the same respect in return.

The forums are a joke. They shouldnt be taken seriously. You can misread emotion as insulting or fight provoking easily that could really only be playful sarcasm face to face. Common sense tells most they will lose some teeth acting like they do on a forum in person. People do it because they are removed from the face to face conflict and think they can get away with it.

Ever flip someone the bird for cutting you off in your car? Next time someone cuts you off while walking down the street yell to them "Hey!! F You!!!" and see what happens.. Click here to enlarge

My Statistics are 100% so in my experience no exaggeration at all. Ya never know though, there is always one... Click here to enlarge

You definitely raise some good points.

Most of the automotive forums should be taken with a grain of salt and not too seriously. Unfortunately, some of the other forums are way too aggressive in policing people and not just letting them mess around.

People do misread emotion and sarcasm.

I would like to think that criticisms I make I would be willing to make to you in conversation. If not, I'm somewhat of a hypocrite.

I think you are somewhat right about the insults these guys make they would not in person, that is something else entirely. People should stand behind their words but also know when to not take it seriously.

So now it's the online forums that are to be blamed for people acting like idiots ? Go read back through my posts tuffguy and try to find any inconsistency, inaccuracy or me being proven wrong and not owning up to it. You can't do it cause it doesn't exist. I too have been on the boards for years and have read so much garbage and misinformation that it makes me sick. That's why when I post, or criticize some dumbass for spouting off, acting like a dick or spreading misinformation, I do it because it makes the forum a better place. If you don't like the way I dish it out, then that's too bad for you. I find it amusing that in one sentence you say, "If its just insults it get boring quick." Then in the following sentence proceed to call me a "know it all douche."
        LOL
Sorry if you feel that way, but I actually appreciate being called a know it all - because there isn't much motorsports related that I don't know about. Too bad you can't say the same, yet compensate by slinging the same insults you so quickly condemn. And guess what, I'm actually more of a pr!ck in person and regularly tell a$$holes like you to watch the fu@k out while walking down the sidewalk. The wife loves it LOL But I'm sure you're just gonna tell me your height and weight and that I'd lose a few teeth if I did that like the veiled threat above...well played sir.

I said you act like a "Know it all douche" not that you ARE a know it all. Big difference. You by far DON'T know it all.

LOL. Listen "Tough guy" I think you would be hard pressed to find one person who doesn't think you are a douche on the forums. You got yourself banned for it on MBW. Maybe you know your stuff.. Maybe not. Who cares. You think your Sh!t don't stink and that's what makes you a douche on the forums. There is a good way and a bad way to let people know their knowledge. One makes you look like a douche the other helps people out that might not know as much as you. Good for you having a lot of experience. Im sure you could teach me some things for sure. I know a lot but I would never say "I know it all"

I meant it as a joke anyhow but obviously you got some inferiority issues so try to work on it. I can act like a douche on the forums too, that was the point. In person though its a different story. Sadly for you, it sounds like you are also one in person. I'm glad your wife likes it though.... I bet she does.. Most woman love a guy who acts like a douche in public telling guys on the sidewalk to "watch the fuk out" it means their big manly men. LOL

No need for height and weight or threats, that's not my way. Veiled threat??? LOL. Seek help dude, you are the epitome of what I was talking about and you continue to prove it. I gave you the benefit of the doubt about being a good guy in person that was the joke of it all. Lighten up. Click here to enlarge

Here is my dyno before and after installation of Weistec's supercharger on an otherwise stock CLK BS. Not sure what the story is with the torque curve on the 'before' dyno but you can clearly see the torque and kw gains on the after dyno. I think these are the first independent numbers for a STOCK CLK63 BS vs Jcarts and Ecampbell's modded cars. I got 516hp at the wheels, loving it.

I know a dynapack has less drivetrain loss than other dynos so i will leave it you guys to fight it out over what that number would be on this or that dyno as that seems to be a popular sport on most MB forums. Bottoline is the car is a real animal. Vs the stock torque and hp numbers for the CLK63 BS my before dyno showed losses of 17-18%. Adjusting the 'after' dyno numbers for this loss would give you crank numbers for the supercharged car of over 800Nm and ~630hp. I am not going to get into a pissing contest so whatever final crank numbers you guys want to use are up to you but the incremental gains on my car from Weistec's supercharger are plain to see. before and after is what its all about rght.

You have to either upload the attachment or link to a site that allows hotlinking. Seems you tried to do it from your mail inbox, that won't work as only you have access while logged in.

Also, please create a new thread for it! Looking forward to seeing your graph.

You can upload local files as well.

I'll see if I can get us some more image uploading options to make things easier on everyone.
