    • Weistec CLK63 AMG Black Series supercharger results from BenzBoost member Ecampbell - 551 rwhp

The 551 whp dyno graph posted below is from a CLK63 Black Series belonging to BenzBoost member Ecampbell. He was kind enough to share his graph after some controversy resulting from a 573 whp graph that we posted for a similar Weistec supercharger setup. The graph you see here is the result of a claimed 5.5-6.0 psi with aftermarket Hennessey headers and an Evosport exhaust. Very strong results for 91 octane pump gas.

Ugh. I'm so disappointed. Full, you are still a grasshopper.
You called ecamp a joke, a liar, called BS on his location, and challenged him to put up a graph or shut up.
Now he posts a graph, and you just accept it? Have you caved so quickly? If you didn't believe any of the other stuff, why accept this?
What about questioning the integrity of the graph?
Are we sure it wasn't mocked-up in some elitist South African offshore sailboat sweatshop staffed by a shortstaffed Texas-miler?

Nobody is interested in half-loon paranoid. It's just not good reading.
Either go full-loon or apologize and quietly depart the stage.
Hijacking the thread about your blower aspirations and adding friggin smiley-faces to your posts without addressing the issue at hand makes you seem meek.

So, my suggestion to you is to continue to ignore the evidence and hand, ignore the calls for you to acquiesce, and go on the offense.
I'll leave it up to you but maybe you could ignore ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING and call him on the lack of a capital letter in his screenname. That's fishyyyyyyyyy!

Going fast with class, huh? Are you sure that's when you are in the car? Lots of smiley faces 2 ya!!!

Thank you for posting your graph ecampbell!

Now my question is, 550rwhp SAE on 91 octane for ecampbell's car but 573rwhp for jrcarts?

We've covered the differences in mods before, what's the deal? Anyone?

        TIA

The 573 whp may not be JRCART's car.

If it wasn't I would expect that jim or rich would have pointed that out immediately on both major forums, we are far beyond that point now and no such message has been posted or relayed.

It was cart's car, just not at full boost 14psi we already know this.

Weistec did not confirm it was Jim's car and suggested it may be someone else's when I asked. I am inclined to think it was his but then it would be down on power a bit for that boost which makes us all scratch our heads.

Anyone know if they did a leakdown test on his car? Just thinking after all that nitrous and all the hard runs if something may be off.

You certainly have an overinflated opinion of yourself and have yet to apologize for being proven wrong. I guess trying to change the topic works with other less intelligent audiences - but I really think you should reconsider your approach. You did nothing that would be deserving of any sort of gratitude from the members here.
Blah blah blah I care about going fast and sharing info in supercharged MB's maybe you should try it sometimes.

        Have fun!!

Full, After following this, as well as other threads you have participated in, you should change your handle to "Jackass going fast". You should shut your piehole except to apologize.

I believe LZH and ecampbell have pretty much had you for lunch.

Niel -No sweat. It's clear he knows he got owned as he won't respond to anything anyone posts besides childish remarks trying to sidestep the fact that he looks like a complete idiot. His sig should read "Full of SH!T going fast with ZERO class".

Perhaps if we simply ignore him he will go away....he has obviously lost face and has no idea what to do...i actually feel sorry for him (well not really but it sounded good).

Anyways I say thanks to Steve for all the work he put into the car. I have had a good experience with both Weistec and Evosport and look forward to the next phase of development.

This is part of a post I made on mbworld, so I thought I would bring my hypothesis here, see what you guys think. I noticed that the max hp is at 6000, and I'm guessing that's where max boost can be found as well, not sure if boost stays steady till redline on this build, as power drops off from 6000 to redline. But, if max psi touches 6 psi and you factor in LT's and full exhaust (which can lower psi, while increasing power; not saying they did lower psi as I don't know), the stage one pulley may be closer to 6.5-7psi?

Boost should be the same throughout the curve as it is a positive displacement.

Not just that, but specifically, it's a twin screw and they make power very linearly. I would think by 6000 rpm, boost would be near or at max.

On my last build, when I added a twin scew to a car that already had a very free flowing cat back, an 8 psi pulley made about 7.5 psi. Then, when I added LT's, boost dropped to 7psi. So, the combo of LT's, no cats, and free flowing catback, dropped my psi by 1 psi.

As they should, since boost is a measure of backpressure.

Seriously? You have 3 post all of which you are riding ecampbell's nuts like Seabiscuit.

Give it a rest troll, you are trying way too hard. We gave the guy a hard time, myself included. So what? He is the one that went out of his way to become the internet equivalent of a fat drunk chick at a bar going out of her way to get some attention. When we asked for proof he acted as if he was piloting some top secret government stealth fighter.

Congrats on that piece of paper that proves nothing BTW. A dyno is a mere tool for tuning and showing gains. Without a baseline of YOUR car ON THE SAME DYNO it is utterly useless. Man up, take it to the track and post up the results. Then maybe I will be impressed.
